Personality

This is a smart and stubborn loving dog who wants and needs to spend lots of time with his people. A fun-loving freethinker, the French Bulldog takes well to training when it’s done in a positive manner with lots of food rewards, praise, and play.

Health

French Bulldogs are a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed with a compact and muscular build. For that reason, they are prone to certain health problems due to their unique anatomy. For this reason, it’s even more important to have the right breeder with the correct blood lines. We strive to be ethical with our breeding, so health and structure are more important to us than color.

Care

French Bulldogs do not need a lot of exercise. They have fairly mellow energy levels, although there are exceptions to every rule. To keep their weight down, however, they need daily exercise through short walks or play times in the yard. Many French Bulldogs enjoy playing and will spend much of their time in various activities, but they are not so high energy that they need a large yard or long periods of exercise.

Feeding

All of our dogs, including our puppies are on a raw food diet. The benefits from that diet include, increased energy levels, optimum overall health (appetite, hygiene, reduced bowel movements) and less gas.

Grooming

French Bulldogs are fairly easy to groom with the proper conditioning, it can be difficult if they’re not exposed to this at a young age. We bath and groom our puppies so they’re acclimated to those activities. Due to the nature of their coat they are not heavy shedders.

Children friendly
Frenchies get along well with children, and they’re not so tiny that they can’t live in a household with a toddler.
Don't enjoy being alone
If you want an outdoor dog who can be left alone for long periods, the Frenchie is not the breed for you.
Excellent housekeeper
French Bulldogs make excellent watchdogs and will alert their people to approaching strangers, but it’s not their style to bark without cause.
